Capital City Comic Con 2014!

July 11th - 13th, Palmer Events Center, in Austin TX! I'm happy to announce that I will be a guest in the Artist Alley all weekend, selling prints*, original artwork, sketchbooks, and taking commissions at the show.

I hope to see you there!

*I usually premiere a new print at every show I appear, but unfortunately I just didn't have the time to finish a new piece (though Grimlock and Cobra Commander/Megatron are still pretty fresh, only two weeks old), but I hate to not have anything new, to help promote my appearance...

...so I'd suggest keeping an eye on my Facebook page - the Art of Ken Christiansen - over the next few weeks, for some development artwork for a certain movie that just came out in theaters. Here's a peek:

BotCon 2014!

BotCon 2014, in Pasadena Ca, at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E Green St 91101 June 20th-22nd.

As usual, I'll be selling prints, sketchbooks, original artwork, and taking commissions in the Artist Alley. Commissions are first come first serve, each day of the con. I will be taking on 6 more Pre-order commissions for pick up at the con. Contact ken@badflip.com, if you're interested.

I'll have two new prints with me, plus the original paintings for sale, Grimlock, and a GI Joe/TF crossover!

Also, I'll be at a Transformers event, hosted at Emerald Knight, Comics and Games, the Wednesday before BotCon, in Burbank. I'll be signing comics, and I'll also have original art, prints, and sketchbooks for sale as well. Jim Sorenson, Livio Ramondelli, and a gang from Transformers Prime, will be there as well! Pretty cool.

I won't be doing commissions at this event, but you can pre-order, if interested.
